Downtown Revitalization

Occam Consulting Engineers bring experience in downtown revitalization projects, Main Street programs, and other assignments to assist in redevelopment of urban areas. Occam staff have been involved in all aspects of the planning and design and implementation of these projects.

Occam experience includes development of traffic and parking studies, design of the various improvements to roadways, traffic signals, utilities, and the preparation of plans for landscape and streetscape amenities.

A unique strength of the creative Occam team is the ability to examine traffic issues with a view toward development of the overall right-of-way, with streetscape amenities, wider sidewalks, parking improvements, and ultimately, façade improvements on commercial establishments.
